Allison the Camel (It was Alice when I grew up!)

Virginia's kindergarten class did a music show for the parents a couple of weeks ago. Here is a video of my favorite -- Allison the Camel. Virginia came home singing this and was amazed that I knew the song. Of course, I told her it was Alice the Camel not Allison -- apparently, I was wrong! Well, there is a first time for everything!! :)

Virginia is on the top row in the lime green -- between a boy in light blue and a boy in red. She actually loves singing but performing makes her nervous. She didn't smile much!

Jeb is a fish!

I'm having trouble with my baby growing up. It seriously makes me sad. I think I was so overwhelmed for a few years that I was quietly wishing for Ford and Virginia to get a little more independent. With Jeb, I've had more time to enjoy the baby stuff and the time has flown! Jeb has spent the last 8 weeks learning to swim. Yes, SWIM! Soon enough, I will be able to sit at the pool with a magazine while my children swim safely! I see the light at the end of the baby tunnel. But it is a little sad.

So, here is my happy swimmer. I was a little late pushing record so he is splashing into the pool before you can see that it is him!! Go Jeb go! And for my St. Louis friends -- I highly recommend Little Fishes Swim School!!!

My little biker girl!

I'm way behind on my posts but we have been very busy! Last month, Virginia mastered two wheels and now she is unstoppable. This video is was taken when I let go and she didn't realize it. It was her first time to not just tip over as soon as she felt me let go. Now she and Ford ride all over the neighborhood. I love how he encourages her -- you gotta love it when that happens, because it is a bit rare!!

Another iPhone Update

Blogging hasn't been a priority lately, but in an effort to remember a few things, you get another iPhone update! We have been busy but I seem to never have my camera. Not to mention, why are the last 8 weeks of school so crazy busy??!! I'm finally ready for summer -- we need some free time around here.

But for now, here is what is going on at the Balogh house . . .

Jeb is taking swimming lessons every Tuesday and now jumps in without any help from the teacher and swims to the ladder! Hooray! I think by the end of the summer I just might get to read a magazine by the pool while my children swim!!!!! (sorry for the horrible picture -- iPhones don't like action shots!)

Mema and Bud came for a visit and had a nice nap with Jeb and Barney!
Virginia and I worked out a little time at Ladue Nails for a mani/pedi . . . love that she loves this as much as I do!!!
On a whim, I purchased a $20 fondue pot at Tuesday Morning. It was a total hit! Cheese fondue with yummy Companion bread and chocolate fondue with strawberries -- I think they would eat it every night.
And Ford now knows what it feels like to get a bat in the face -- and apparently this was only a small amount of the blood. The majority was on the field and on Brent! Thank you Lord for getting Brent home in time to take Ford to baseball practice -- bloody facial injuries are not my specialty. Thankfully, all teeth are still in his mouth and nothing appears broken. He does have one swollen bruised little face though!
Hopefully the next update will be better! I have some recipes to share and lots of projects going on -- one day I'll actually get them posted! :)
