A Road Trip!

Last Saturday, I packed up Ford and Virginia and we drove to Nashville to meet up with my sister and her 3 girls. The Taylor Swift concert was the reason for the drive . . . and it was worth the 11 hours in the car for one night in Nashville with Taylor and these fun folks!

The crew all ready for the show (my sister didn't actually go to the concert because you could only by 6 seats together -- that means I took a 16, 13, 9, 7 and 6 year old to a concert all by myself!). . .
Waiting on the show to start . . .
A little Taylor <3!

And the next morning, we did the Nashville thing and headed to Pancake Pantry for breakfast. Yummy!

Jump Rope for Heart . . .

Each year, the kids school participates in Jump Rope for Heart in order to raise money for the American Heart Association. This year Ford's grade moved to "teams" rather than individual skills . . . her is a shot of his team. They did some great tricks but it is a little hard to capture in a still shot!

My handsome boy is developing a teenage smirk. Scary!
Virginia's grade still does individual skills . . . a little airplane while spinning anyone?!
And the traditional "jump"!
And you gotta love "girl love" . . . Emma, Alexa, Virginia, Robin, Allie and Riley . . .
Can you tell this was on St. Patrick's Day??!!
